Competition teams

age 7 upwards

Criteria for  is that pupils must have superb attendance to all classes and work to the best of their ability. They must attend a minimum of two Danceworld technical street classes each week. When competing our team members/parents must contribute to fund raising efforts by fund raising and helping at fund raising events during the year (a minimum of two events per year). They will attend the Scottish Streetdance Championships and the World Streetdance Championships every second year if possible. (To date they have won the Scottish Championship 3 times and the 2014 World Championships). They must also attend an intensive training week before the World Championships when competing. This has proven to be an invaluable exercise in the success of Pulsationz to date. Again, this is a huge commitment but it is the only way to gain success in the world of competition dance. Guest choreographers from all over the globe will come in and do workshops in their chosen style and they will pass valuable techniques and styles to our teams. All members must attend these.
