Sophie

Sophie started west Lothian dance world after attending a summer workshop quite a few years ago and it was a no brainer to get her enrolled. She started with just acro and was on the waiting list for ballet, tap and jazz, within the year she was doing 3 nights a week and she is now dancing 6 days a week doing 8 styles of dance and is in 2 competition teams.

Sophie absolutely loves WLDW, it is her safe space where she is free to be exactly who she is, she doesn’t have to worry about being too “extra” or too much for people. This is a family and she found were she belongs. It’s getting her out of dancing at the end of her classes that’s the problem.

Sophies love for dance just grows week on week and WLDW has really helped her to see her potential.
