DANCEWORLD NEWSLETTER JAN 2012-01-18

Happy new year to you all. All classes have resumed and are running well. We are all getting prepared for our big dance event. We have a weekend production in April, May and June and all pupils now know which weekend they are taking part in.

We are hosting a choreography competition in February and all pupils are welcome to enter. You can obtain a entry form from our receptionist or from our website. All you need to do is pick music to dance to, pick a dance style or styles you like, maybe think of a theme/story, costumes and props are optional and away you go!

Tickets for our dance event will go on sale in March. They will be on a first come first serve basis so be prepared (we always sell out!).

All dance fees must be paid up to date before you purchase tickets please. If anyone is struggling please speak to us and we will help out in any way we can.

All costume money is in and so are most of the costumes. We are awaiting some costumes from both England and America and also there are still some being made or altered by dressmakers. Please make sure you have dressers organised for your child backstage. Very important.

All pupils should have our payment letter which gives all the holiday dates for the full year. New starts (and all current pupils) should also make sure they have joined our website and have downloaded all the show info.

Shaunna Noble (former pupil) has her first professional dancers job in Egypt. Well done and good luck. Shaunna was one of our Livingston pupils.

Danceworld is now working in conjunction with West Lothian’s Active Schools. They are delighted to have us on board and we are really excited about working with all the nursery and school kids in West Lothian. We are very proud of this achievement as we are now recommended on their website and have some very exciting things coming up

Lastly, from now until end of February any pupil or parent who introduces a friend to any of our dance classes or zumba classes will receive ONE FREE CLASS as a thank you for recommending us.
