REISS DUNN

Reiss Dunn started dancing at age 9 with Danceworld.  One year later he was one of only 12 children chosen in the full of Scotland for a scholarship place at the "Dance School of Scotland".  He trained there for four years in Ballet, Jazz and Tap.  He gained his RAD Advanced 1 Certificate and performed in the Kings Theatre, The Theatre Royal and also Glasgow Concert Hall. 

He won the West Lothian Schools Competition for Most Talented Individual Dancer and later that year was chosen to represent Scotland in the World Hip Hop Championships in Florida, 2010.  He loved every moment of it but nearly never got there because of the volcanic ash!!!

He has done lots of choreography and dance pieces with many famous dancers and choreographers.  His passion is break dance and hip hop, he was self taught to begin with but has since gone on to do workshops, summer schools and dance events in London, Liverpool and Manchester to continually improve and learn so that both his dancing and teaching skills become the best they can be.

He has been selected this year again for the Scotland Team and will again compete in Florida in 2011.  Good luck Reiss!

MARIE FISHER 

Marie Fisher joined Danceworld age 3!  She auditioned successfully for "Dance for All" dance college in Edinburgh.  She is near to completing her course and has worked really hard.  She has danced at Go Dance in Glasgow, The Balmoral in Edinburgh, she was the Scotcheer National solo hip hop champion and the West Lothian Dance Challenge Champion 2009.

Maire works alongside Reiss in most of the boys and girls break dance classes.  Marie was selected for the Scotland team and will compete in the World Championships in Florida in 2011.  Well done Marie and good luck!

LAUREN CUNNINGHAM

Lauren joined Danceworld age 3!  She has completed her full-time dance training at Dance for All.  She has done many dancing and teaching jobs and was one of our resident teachers for the past few years at our Broxburn branch.  Both Lauren and Reiss were part of the Scotland Hip Hop Team last year in Florida.  Lauren has been teaching some of the girls hip hop and break dance classes to help both Reiss and Marie.  She loves every minute of it.

Lauren has been chosen as Co Captain of the Scotland team for this years Championships in Florida.  Well done Lauren and good luck!
